Privacy Policy

Postrion X (x.postrion.io) helps you turn your own notes into posts, schedule them and publish them to your own X account. It is operated by Postrion (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we process, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Sign-in data from X: your name, username, profile photo, X user ID and, if you allow it, your confirmed email address, provided when you sign in with X. You can also type an email address in yourself.
• X access tokens: the tokens that let us publish the posts you schedule and read the numbers of your own posts. They are encrypted at rest.
• Content you create: notes, including the text of voice notes, your answers to the assistant's questions, drafts, scheduled and published posts, the topics you send to the writing assistant and its output, and the profile details and sample posts you add under “About you”.
• Voice recordings: a voice note is sent for transcription and only its text is kept. We do not store the recording.
• Your own posts on X: the text and numbers (impressions, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, bookmarks, profile clicks) of your recent posts, including ones you wrote outside Postrion X, so each post can be compared with your usual. We read only your own posts.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and server logs (such as IP address and request time) used for security and troubleshooting.
• How you found us: if you arrive from an ad, a campaign link or another website, we note the campaign details in the link (such as utm parameters or a Google click ID), the page you landed on and the referring site. This stays in a cookie in your browser for up to 90 days and is saved to your account only if you sign up. A Google click ID is kept only if you choose “Allow” in the cookie banner.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To publish a post or thread to your X account at the time you scheduled it.
• To generate questions, directions and drafts with the writing assistant.
• To show you how your posts did.
• To email you about your account, for example when a post did not go out or X access needs renewing.
• To apply plan limits and prevent abuse.
• To learn which ads and links bring people who stay. If you came from a Google ad and chose “Allow”, we may tell Google Ads that the click led to a sign-up or a trial, using only the click ID and the time — never your name, email or content. If you chose “No thanks”, nothing is reported.

Through the official API we only publish posts you write or approve and schedule. We do not read your messages, followers or anyone else's posts, nothing is liked, replied to or sent on your behalf, and we do not sell your data or use your profile or content for advertising.

X

We access X only through its official API, with the permissions you approve at sign-in: reading your profile and email (users.read, users.email), reading and publishing your own posts (tweet.read, tweet.write), and staying connected between visits (offline.access). Your use of X itself is governed by X's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Postrion X is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by X Corp.

AI processing

When you use the writing assistant, your note, your answer, your request and your “About you” details are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate questions, directions and drafts. Voice notes are sent to OpenAI for transcription. Both process this data under their commercial API terms and do not use it to train their models. Always review AI drafts before publishing.

Service providers

• Railway — application hosting and database.
• Anthropic — AI questions, directions and drafts.
• OpenAI — transcription of voice notes.
• Supadata — transcripts of YouTube videos you turn into a post; only the video link is sent.
• Sentry — error monitoring; error reports can include technical details of the failed request.
• Google Ads — measuring ads, using only the click ID described above.
• X — sign-in, publishing and the numbers of your own posts.
• Cloudflare — domain name services.
• An email delivery provider — account notifications.
• Paddle — payments. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for our orders and processes your billing details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number.

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service, and with authorities only when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time under About you → Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, notes, drafts, scheduled posts, AI history, the numbers we read and stored X access from our database. Copies may remain in encrypted backups and logs for a limited period before they are overwritten. Posts already published on X stay there until you delete them on X.

You can also revoke Postrion X's access at any time in X under Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@postrion.io. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, X tokens are encrypted with AES-256, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you notice anything unusual.

Cookies

We use only first-party cookies: one to keep you signed in, one used briefly during sign-in, one that remembers how you found us (described above) until you sign up or it expires after 90 days, and one that remembers your answer in the cookie banner. We do not load advertising scripts or cross-site tracking cookies. To change your answer, clear this site's cookies and the banner will ask again.

Children

Postrion X is not intended for anyone under 16.
